Bitbloom privacy policy
Last updated: November 1, 2026
The short version
Kids Mode in Bitbloom works like Bitbloom: Learnling: nothing leaves the device. Adult Mode (18+) gives your companion an AI brain (Claude, by Anthropic), so what it needs to think is sent to our server and to Anthropic. No ads, no tracking, no selling of data.
Adult Mode: what we store
An account identifier from Sign in with Apple (we never ask for your name or email), your companion and its stats, the lessons it learned, what it remembers about you from its questions, drawings you give it, your answers to its questions about itself and, once it Blooms, your chats with it. It is stored in Google Firebase (United States).
Adult Mode: what goes to Anthropic
To write lessons, quizzes, its questions, its updates and its replies, our server sends Anthropic the relevant game state, the facts it remembers about you, and your chat messages. Drawings you show it are sent as a picture so it can guess. Anthropic processes this to answer and does not use it to train its models under its commercial terms.
Your control
The Journal shows what it remembers about you, and Forget removes any of it. Delete account (Journal) deletes your companion, its memories, chats, lessons, drawings and crash reports from our servers, and revokes the Sign in with Apple link. Reported replies are kept for review.
Safety
Adult Mode is for ages 18 and up. Messages are screened before your companion answers, and every reply can be reported.
Crash reports
When the app crashes while you are signed in to Adult Mode, it sends us what broke and where in the code (the error, the app and iOS versions), with anything that looks personal masked. Never your chats or drawings. We keep them for 30 days to fix bugs. Turn this off in Journal, Settings. Kids Mode never sends them.
Bitbloom Plus
If you subscribe, Apple handles the payment; we never see your card. Our server receives the App Store transaction (product, dates, a transaction ID) to unlock Plus on your account and to hear about renewals and refunds from Apple. Manage or cancel it in your Apple account settings.
Notifications and widget
Reminders and the fully rested notice are scheduled on the device. The widget and Live Activity read from the device and make no network requests.

Bitbloom: Learnling privacy policy
Last updated: November 1, 2026
The short version
Bitbloom: Learnling collects nothing. Your child’s pet, what it learns and its badges live only on this device. There are no accounts, no ads, no tracking, no analytics and nothing is sent over the internet.
What stays on the device
The pet’s name (picked from suggestions, never typed), its stats, the data cards it was taught, its badges and settings. Deleting the app, or Start over in the Parent View, deletes all of it.
Notifications
If a grown-up turns reminders on in the Parent View, the app schedules kind local notifications on the device. They are not sent from any server.
Home Screen widget
The widget shows the pet’s name and how it is doing, read from the same device. It makes no network requests.
Grown-ups only
Settings, reminders and starting over are behind a grown-up question in the Parent View.

General LazyChaos website privacy policy
1. Information we collect
Information you provide may include your name, email address, message, and other details you choose to submit through our contact form or other communications. If an app offers an account, purchases, user-generated content, or AI-powered features, the information involved depends on the particular app and its features.
Information generated through use of the website may include device and browser information, approximate location derived from an IP address, pages visited, referral information, and technical logs. Cookies or similar technologies may be used for essential website functions and, when enabled, analytics or performance measurement. We do not assume that every optional service is active at all times.
2. How information is used
We may process information to respond to inquiries, provide and maintain requested services, support users, improve product performance and security, understand site usage, meet legal obligations, and prevent misuse. Where an app offers optional AI functionality, information you intentionally submit for that feature may be processed to generate the requested result, subject to the app’s particular notices and settings.
3. Sharing and third-party services
Information may be shared with vendors that help us host, secure, operate, analyze, or support the website and products, or when disclosure is required by law, necessary to protect rights and safety, or involved in a business transition. Third-party service providers process information under their own applicable terms and privacy commitments. We do not publish a list of specific providers here because integrations may vary by product and may change.
External websites, app stores, and services linked from LazyChaos may have separate privacy practices. Please review their notices before providing information to them.
4. Cookies and analytics
The website may use essential cookies needed for functionality and security. If analytics or optional integrations are enabled, they may use cookies or similar technologies to measure traffic and usage. You can use your browser settings to restrict or delete cookies, although doing so may affect some site features.
5. Data retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, to support the applicable service, or to satisfy legal, security, and recordkeeping obligations. Retention periods vary by data type and service. We use reasonable safeguards intended to protect information, but no website, app, or transmission method is completely secure.
6. Your choices and privacy rights
You may choose not to provide optional information, adjust browser privacy settings, or stop using a service. Depending on where you live and the applicable law, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, or to object to certain processing. To submit a privacy request, use our contact page and identify your request. We may need to verify your identity before acting on it.
7. Children’s privacy
Our general studio website is not intended to solicit personal information from children under 13. Some LazyChaos products may be suitable for different age groups and may have additional age-related rules or disclosures. If you believe a child has provided personal information inappropriately, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.
8. International users
Information may be handled in locations other than the one where you live, depending on where service providers operate. Applicable protections and legal requirements vary by region.
9. Changes to this policy
We may revise this policy when features, practices, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top identifies the latest version posted here. Material changes may be communicated through the website or the relevant product where appropriate.
10. Contact
Questions about this policy or personal information requests can be sent through the LazyChaos contact form. Please include “Privacy Request” in the subject field.
Note: This general policy does not replace additional privacy disclosures required for specific apps, integrations, or regulated data categories.
